Garvin Wolfe van Dernoot is a Chicago based actor most recently seen understudying Blue in the Right Way’s production of Women Beware Women, and About Face’s production of Lavender Men.

Earlier this year Garvin could also be seen as the Conductor in Rail Events Incorporated production of The Polar Express.

Garvin is a founding ensemble member of Municipal Hole Company, where they performed the Diamonds monologues in 36 Monologues About Urban Planning (to be performed in a cul-de-sac), at the Neo-Futurarium in September. Garvin made their Chicago debut in the world premiere of Chagall in School, directed by Georgette Verdin.

I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2021 with a BA in Theatre. I am also an Alum of the Gaiety School of Acting at the National Theatre School of Ireland. I made my professional debut in the Fall of 2022 at Theatre Wit. Shortly after I starred in a short film produced by SSZ Film.
